Farm Republic began as a way to celebrate the land in Northern California, rooted in community-led growing. We’re focused on keeping farming present in everyday life—shared locally, learned through doing, and meant to be carried forward. Whether that happens in a backyard, a neighborhood space, or alongside a working farm, the goal is the same: growing that feels accessible, familiar, and worth continuing.
Seeds are one of the simplest ways people can engage in growing. We select varieties for quality, reliability, and real-world use—chosen to perform well for home growers. From our Seed Journal to seasonal subscriptions full of future homestead heirlooms, everything we do is about growing—seeds in the ground, stories worth sharing, and a little harvest joy all year long. Clear information and thoughtful selection matter, so that families, food lovers, and first-time gardeners discover the magic of putting a seed in the ground and growing the future.
Our work often overlaps with schools and youth spaces, building curiosity and long-term interest in growing. We support garden projects, seed programs, or fundraising efforts that support local growing, access, and engagement, so a love for farming has room to take root early.

Our germination rates are consistently high because we source carefully and only select lots that meet our standards. If a seed doesn’t grow well for us, we simply don’t offer it.

We are permitted with the California Department of Food and Agriculture to sell seed. Our seeds are grown and handled using regenerative practices that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and long-term land stewardship.
